Instrument Details: The Vasectomy Dissecting Forceps is used during the surgical excision of the vas deferens in non scalpel vasectomy. The instrument consists of sharp blades that have a point tip hinged back to finger rings with an overall length of 14 cm. The surgeon holds the instrument in his dominant hand and uses the sharp tips to create a small puncture hole in the anterior wall of the scrotum. The vas deferens is then isolated, ligated and cut using the sharp blade of the Vasectomy Dissecting Forceps. All of our Vasectomy Dissecting Forceps can be sterilized and used repeatedly for years of surgical procedures. The Vasectomy Dissecting Forceps are manufactured with surgical grade German stainless steel that may be sterilized and reused.
